In my last post I forgot to mention my views on Juan Carlos Delgado, so here it goes. The link http://www.revistaexclama.com/arte/ has pictures of his latest art show. His sculptures are all frozen in time (literally) and it makes them look older. What I thought was most interesting was how there was a line of pictures of iced sculptures, followed by a sculpture of hands with fire in it. The mood Juan Carlos Delgado was in must have been completely opposite from the ice mood. I love how the fire makes the rest of the sculpture dark and mysterious.
Another thought: in class we talked about glowing shoes and such, and i stumbled upon this video and it reminded me of the class discussion.... because its all glowing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gJ2zkRseqs
